I have a SPARC that I have mounted at 11 o'clock on my scope. I can't get it to zero as it ha bottomed out and it needs to come down quite a bit more. I  left eye dominate and I must keep it on the left side. Any ideas on what mount I should get? I was looking at the KAC mount but I am unsure on how high I could get the SPARC . All ideas are welcomed...

Well I ordered the KAC side mount, I think it is P/N 25789. Anyone using one of these?

I wouldn't call the SPARC a micro dot.  I have a SPARC.  You would probably have better luck with something like the Burris FastFire.  I have a FastFire II on a Weaver offset base and if I maintain a cheek weld and roll the rifle, the FastFire is right where it should be, and there was plenty of travel when zeroing the dot.  The FastFire weighs 25 grams, as opposed to 5.2 ounces for the SPARC, if you're concerned about balance when you're using your primary magnified optic.

I'm left eye dominant as well, since I developed a blood clot where the retina and the optic nerve meet, about 8 years ago.

This is the mount I use:

A smaller red dot optic will also obscure less of your field of view.

This is the FastFire III:

I have a II, the III adds preset brightnesses in addition to the autoadjust brightness of the II.  The batteries can be changed on the III without removing the sight.

Thanks for the reply Mark! Can you post a pic of your set up so I can see how you have it set up. I'm going to try the KAC mount and see how that goes. If I can't gr it to work I will sale the SPARC and try the fast fire....
