I need help figuring out which spring (and other parts) I need to select from my pile of parts so that I'm able to install a Magpul trigger guard.

The trigger guard was ordered as part of a lower parts kit package and all of the pieces came in one bag.

These are the parts I have:

I have the roll pin for the side with the two holes; I do not know which parts I need to select to install the trigger guard on the side with one hole (I'm assuming a spring and plunger of some type)?

I am an AR newbie, so if you can help, please use plain English and assume that I know NOTHING in your response, because I really fucking don't.

You just need to use that little hex screw with the blue Loctite that is to the top right of your trigger guard to insert in the area that you have the arrow pointing to.

If that is the polymer guard then it uses a small screw.

ETA: it will be the left over parts.

Sweet.  That's a thing of beauty.

So I just screw it into the hole, correct?

Yes. and thats what she said.

You need  a very small allen key.   But the people above are correct, just use the tiny screw with the locktite.

I should have asked half an hour ago.

Thanks a lot for your help, everyone.

Yep all that.

Assuming you have the metal trigger guard....sometimes  pre-applied Loctite can be a little too heavy.
Eye ball it and scrape some off if it seems excessive.
Doesn't hurt to do a dry run and thread the set screw in a ways with the trigger guard in hand.
On the set screw install. stop when the set screw is ever so slightly below flush.

On the roll pin side, lube the pin and properly support the trigger guard ear, lest the Grip of Shame be your constant companion.
