I have a pre-ban Colt AR-15 A2 Sporter II and I wanted to confirm a part that I need. In order for me to attach the upper, I need a receiver adapter. Will this work for what I want to do?

I presume what you intend to do is install a .250" pin upper on a large pin Colt lower??

We need some more info. What upper are you using, and what lower are you using?

Yes, that will let a Ml Spec small hole fit your large hole Colt. This will make a large hole Colt upper fit a Mil Spec lower.
