| Looking for a scout scope. Reason I ask is because I want to put a scope on my Mosin Nagant M91/30 without having to drill and tap, so a scout scope may be my only option. Any help finding a cheap (<$150) but durable scout scope would be appreciated, thanks! |

I know that Simmons is usually junk, but my oldest has used a Simmons ProHunter 2x20 pistol scope on his hunting rifle for the last three years. No fogging and no wandering POI. The only possible issue is that the minimum eye relief on that scope is too long for some people or on some rifles.
