[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need help picking/finding a barrel

I had a takeoff from my M&P 15T I was going to use on my lightweight/budget carbine build, but the taper pin hole for the low profile gas block isn't going to work with a regular FSB.

Now I'm in the market for a cheapo 16" or 14.5" pinned, carbine length, preferably chrome lined and with a F marked front sight, barrel.

All I can find are the nicer ones. I'd like to keep this as cheap as possible as this is supposed to be a spare parts build. Everywhere I've looked is out of stock.

Any ideas?

Where did you buy it from?

I've checked Primary Arms, PSA, and a few of the other usual suspects. I haven't found what I'm looking for in stock anywhere.

if you don't mind not having chrome lined, and you don't mind a dpms barrel, here's a 16" hbar from pk firearms...it's on their site, so it's definitely in stock.
