What tools do I need for barrel and fore end removal and replacement and for installing match triggers? I don't want to spend $1000 on Brownell's armorer's kit, just what I need to swap barrels and fore ends. Your advice is much appreciated.

Depends on what rail system you're talking about. You might just need a standard barrel wrench.

,,,Vice, receiver block,barrel nut whench, hammer, proper size punches(one for gas tube roll pin,one for FSB pins/trigger/hammer pins) wrench for FS. and some patience.

+1. Only thing I'd add would be a set of barrel vice jaws.
