I have a mega upper and lower and took the gun out to shoot for the frist time and started to have FTF. The carrier is scraping the bolt catch, I can tell by the marks on the bolt catch. If you try to load a new magazine and push the bolt close release it stops about half way through when trying to strip a round from the magazine,

press on the bolt catch and slowly fully retract the carrier, does the carrier bind?

release the bolt catch and slowly let the carrier go forward, does the carrier bind?

Yes both ways you can feel it grabbing.

are you using a slotted carrier and hooked hammer?

I had someone cock and drop the hammer on my bolt catch and screw it up.After that you had to push the bolt release three times harder to release.
