Can not find any markings on stock.

Looks to be a Colt vinyl acetate stock, a 2 position carbine buffer tube that would go with the stock and has the correct lock ring and a Colt 601 charging handle.

Nice stuff

+1.  if you look under the latch, you may see some markings on the latch itself or on the stock body.

Markings for the stock will be on the inside of the latch. You should see a NN for Newton along with a #.

Here's some pictures from an archived post:

+1 for everyone's answer above, as far as the upper, if you flip it over, we can at least tell you what forge it came from.

Newton with a 2 on the stock.  Upper is a 'C' with a Cerra keyhole.

That should be a colt upper with a c stamp. Does it have a 4 or M4 stamp above the gas tube hole?

That's just not fair, man.

I wish I could just find parts like that "lying around."

Welcome to the board, Marine.  Nice first post!  I'm sure it's generated some hot and heavy IM/email action!

So I'm curious--are you planning a retro build?
Stick around and learn a bit about the variants.  You may become infected like the rest of us!

No, just saw the stock, and it reminded me of a certain Executive protection rifle. Didn't even notice the tube was only a two position, and grabbed the handle out of a bunch. Truly luck that I ended up with the 'set'.   I was going to rework the stock but then my curiosity got the best of me and started doing a little research. After I kinda figured it might just be a piece of history, I couldn't butcher the stock. I was going to swap out the stock on my Bushy so I could use the B tube on a pistol, but now I will have to find another one as the B will probably get sold later.

Nice parts grab!
And thanks for doing your research before you did anything to it.
And welcome to the forum
