[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need help with Surefire light

Hello. I have a Surefire 961 Millenium series light with the dual tape switch / clicky-button tail cap. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove the tape swith input that goes into the tail cap. It obviously comes off, as there is an attached cover for when it is unplugged, but I can't figure out how to unplug it--and I don't want to break it trying the wrong way. Thanks for your help.

All ya gotta do is PULL. It's super tight in there esp. with the O-ring. You'll feel like you're gonna break it but you won't. Just grab close to the port as possible and pull. Don't pull on the cable.
