I bought a package deal on the used EE and several buffer tubes came in it. They are round and 6 1/2 inches long (the actual length after screwing it into an upper) and threaded in the end.  Actually, 3 are threaded and 1 is not.  I "think" these are for the short RRA entry stock.  They will fit in an A2 stock but are way too short.  Could they be used in an A2 with a carbine buffer/spring and a longer stock screw?  Might be a stupid question but I have a few A2's without tubes that I want to use and now these tubes.  Or am I barking up the wrong tree and just need to buy the right size?

The one that is not threaded on the end (for a screw) is a pistol tube. The others do sound like the RRA Entry stock tubes.

As far as using them with A2 stocks, well, yes..........AND not worth it. It could be used with a longer screw (real long) and a longer spacer (you would have to use a spacer to give the stock something to seat against) and CAR buffer/spring. However, for the cost (pretty cheap if off EE) for the A2 tube, spacer, and buffer/spring i would go that way.
