I recently built a rifle and set it up with a DD fixed front sight. I was trying to zero the rifle today and hit a snag. The front sight post is really stiff. I tried using a round and then tried to turn it with a punch. It wouldn't budge. Any thoughts?

You're supposed to be able to use a bullet point.
I cheat and use the FSP Wrench.

This may be a stupid question, but, is it screwed all the way down?  Are you trying to back it off to lower your point of impact, or screw it in to raise your point of impact?
ETA:  All mine turn pretty easy with the tip of a bullet pushing down the little detent.

may be another stupid question on my part, is there a spring loaded detent keeping the pin from moving? you must push that down to turn the post.

Also, It's not zeroed out all the way down is it?  What rear sight are you using?

The DD sight is anodized with a parkerized post. I've seen similar ones that needed a drop of lube and an AR front sight tool to get them turning. Once they started moving, they loosened right up.

my psa fsp was incredibly stiff when i got it.  just get a front sight tool and muscle it to where you want it.  it'll loosen over time.
