I've a chance to buy an AN-PVS2 starlight scope at a very attractive price. It's the large, 1st gen., USGI NV scope. It comes with a M-14/M1A mount, problem is, I don't have an M1A. I've heard of an Elcan adapter that allows for mounting on Weaver-style rails, and I've seen a carry-handle mount for the AR, but what I'm really looking for is the Elcan type, or any other system that would allow mounting to a flat-top, or other Weaver-type rail. Even though it's not a great deal of money, I'd like to know I can use it before I buy it. Any ideas? (pls. don't tell me to go out and buy an M1A) Thanks! |
