[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need options for scope mounts

I have a Colt H-bar match target that I want to remove the carry handle and rear sight so I can mount a scope that I already have. What are the options for scope mounts for this application. The scope is a Burris 3-9x w/44mm objective. Will the front sight interfere with the sight picture or do I need special mounts that will bring the scope up enough to clear the front sight . I will be using this gun to Coyote hunt this season. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

OK I'll bump this back up to the top....... Really I need some help it's overwelming what is out there for mounts. There are literaly thousands of combinations. Well I'll try again.
