| I've read the artice about optics and talked with guys who have used both the Aimpoint and the ACOGs. I'm still trying to figure out which one is for me. I don't plan on shooting 400-500 yds, but I'd like to have the capability if needed. I've heard that you can shoot well enough close range as far as seeing your target quickly with the ACOG as well as you can with the Aimpoint. I was looking at getting an Aimpoint and later getting the 3x magnifier for my rifle. Does anyone have any experience with these two? I've tried going to the local gun store and looking at both of the sights, but all they have are some cheap, fake Aimpoint wannabe sights and no ACOGs. Any help would be appreciated. |
