I have a NIB pre-ban Colt 6520 green label.

Marked Colt AR-A5A2 Gov't Carbine.

It has the A2 lower not slab side.

It has the box and the is all original.

Still has the cardboard wick in the barrel.

I was thinking about offering a straight-up trade for a NIB Colt 6920.

Someone in a state that still has a AWB and can legally own a pre-ban AR-15.

I have not and will not shoot it.

The 6920.... I could and might.

Just thinking about it.

JUST THINKING.

What say the hive?

What would you do?

Just me, but I would keep that thing. Don't make a rush decision unless you can trade straight up for a rifle you absolutely have to have. Even then I'd save up for that dream rifle & still keep the one you've posted about whether you're gonna use it or not. That's just me though.

Ones here out of the box used and shot are going $1600...Id sell it to a ban state and buy a 6920,ammo,mags and a red dot of some kind with what you could make on it.

If you haven't used it and aren't going to sell it and get the 6920. In NY or another ban state that carbine will be getting used, and will probably be still be in hard use 50 years from now (if they don't hunt us down before then)

Punt that damn thing and buy a shooter.  It should not be that hard of a decision.

shoot the hell out of it and buy a 6920 and shoot the hell out of that too.

After you get the 6920 you will still want another rifle anyway.

Don't sell your ARs, unless it's for cheap, and to me.

Agreed.  A rifle sitting in a box unused is a shame.

This way you both get rifles with 'evil features' that will get used.

Sell off her shoe & purse collection. Then you'll have enough cash to buy that 6920 & still keep the other.
