Looks aluminum to me. A quick way to tell is the lack of reinforcement lines between the tube & the squared part below - plastic stocks have 'em, Al stocks don't. but i've never seen the small or large B on the side of any stock other than an aluminum collapsible stock. |

For future reference, how much should I give for one of those aluminum stocks if I wanted to buy one? the stock body usually goes for $75-$125 depending on condition and finish. the essential arms ones with the shiny coating to replicate the colts usually sell on the higher end. figure another $50 for hardware. original colt sets are running $300 and up for the assembly. |
