I am getting ready to start a new 450 build from the ground up. My receiver set came in yesterday, so now I am only waiting on the bolt, a crush washer, and a gas tube roll pin. I have enough parts to get started though. I have not decided on optics yet. It is a toss up between an Aimpoint and a lower power scope. Here is a list of some of the parts that I will be using.

| The ejection port does not have to be opened up. The upper is designed with a larger port for the larger caliber casings. I did run into one snag so far. The shape of the upper prevents the use of the anti-rotation device that comes with the Larue rail. I guess I am going to have to find another rail/handguard for this build. |
