I've been reading the site for a couple months now, decided to start building my first AR this weekend. I picked up a S&W stripped lower to start my build. I was thinking about a Del-ton kit possibly. 16'' M4 style, chrome lined barrel, YHM diamond free float, chrome bolt and carrier, and I want a flat top upper. I plan to use optics also. Opinions on the YHM flip up front gas block and YHM flip up rear sight would be appreciated. Also do I need to order the M4 feed ramps for this kit? Does anyone have experience with the S&W lower and del ton complete upper kits as far as fit and finish go? Thank you. I will be posting pics up tomorrow of the lower and throughout the build process.
