I own a Bushmaster AR15
- 16" barrel (14.5" + flash suppressor)
- collapsible stock (6-position)
- both features are factory.

I want to put on a 20" barrel
I know I will need:
- the barrel
- gas tube for 20" barrel
- handguards

Am I missing anything? I will have a local shop put it on as I do not have the experience nor the equipment to do the "operation."
Will the buffer tube be OK, or will I need a different one?

Asuuming the 20" barrel is complete with gas block, looks like you are good to go.

The receiver extension and buffer with the collapsible stock will work fine.

Roll pins for the gas tube, barrel wrench, torque wrench, lube for the barrel nut, barrel jaws, maybe an upper vise block.

There is a sheet metal cap that holds the front of the standard A2 hand guards .

I would also get a new barrel nut & delta ring assembly ( spring and snap ring ) .

And , as mentioned a roll pin for the gas tube .

And , buy the barrel with the Front Sight Base installed .  And the front sight post , spring and detent .

God bless
