well thanks to everyone who answered my noob questions. this is what i have so far. TNW billet lower, DPMS parts kit. This took all but 15 mins with a punch and a flat blade screw driver and a vice grip. I just followed along with the brownell's videos. I tested the mag release and the fit with some cheap ar-stoner 30rd mags. they drop out and lock in with no hitches. now i just need a stock and an upper.

im not sure. i bought it from a local ffl dealer he had it in stock from an order that was cancelled.
