I just start the 2nd build of 2 new DoubleStar Lowers with DPMS Parts Kits.

Here they are:

Notice that one in complete and the other is not:

This is the reason, it is supposed to be the Rear Takedown pin. I'be always had good luck with DPMS before, just thought this must have gotten past their QC.

Have any of you seen this kind of thing from DPMS???

Bummer.

I have only used DPMS LPK's, and granted, only have used 4. But, I have never had an issue.

Bulk packed, mass produced parts, are at risk of things like this. Sucks, but I hear DPMS usually makes good on issues like this.

wow that sucks...all in all though its at most a few bucks to replace, quicker to just buy a new part than bitch at dpms over one of the cheapest lpk on the market. i 2 use dpms and have never had any issues

yes

my DPMS LPK was missing a spring and dentant; 2 pins were too large

i have never used a DPMS LPK again, and i have never had a problem w/ the RRA, Stag, Bushy, and Armalite

FWIW: call DPMS, they will make it right

Out of three DPMS LPKs, I was missing a single hammer/trigger pin.  Luckily, I had a bunch of spares handy so I could complete the build.
