Having lurked here for awhile, I finally bought my first Bushmaster Law enforcement .223. Thanks everyone for the discusions I learned alot here. I have taken it to the range and what a great rifle the .223 caliber is sweet, nice punch but you can still shoot all day. I shot Wolf black and it shot well. Does anyone reload .223 or is it cheap enough that it isnt worth it. Anyway thanks again for the information! Elglide

Dude!  Congratulations.  Don't listen too hard to the posters here;  no matter what rifle you bought, they can induce "buyer's remorse."  Bushy is a good gun.

I started reloading for .223 when the price of XM193 and Q-loads hit $129 / 500.  Now it's $209, down from $239 this summer.  It costs me $0.18 to reload one round, using 55 grain bulk fmj.  This assumes 5 reloads out of each once fired case.  The bullets ain't match accuracy, but neither is my gun and i'm not shooting at matches.  Get into reloading, not only is it cheaper and you'll shoot more, but you learn so much that you'd never understand if all you do is load a factory round and shoot it.  Be carerful and have fun.
