You will enjoy her. I got a RRA for Christmas two years ago from my wife, and I absolutely love her (the gun Anyways, congrats! |

my .02, don't go crazy with a scope and extra mods for a while. for now spend the money on ammo and trips to the range. i would say that a few hundred spent on a training class will serve you better than any *bolt on's*. you can always use more training, no matter who you are. if you start buying a bunch of stuff to hang on your rifle chances are that in 6-8 months you'll have a box of extra parts that you didn't like. (you should see my box of parts) find some AR friends who have the things that you are considering and try it out first hand (not over the net). you have a nice rifle and a good start. |

Congratulations on the new rifle.
Now spend the couple of weeks reading here, the Scope forum and other related forums at AR15. As far as modding and scoping your new rifle... Resist the temptation to get it all now. Research here to find what is worthy and what is junk. Chinese scopes, parts and accessories have no place on your rifle, they are for airsoft and the ignorant. Save and spend your money on good quality stuff and you only have to buy them once. Far too many new people here buy a bunch of junk, waste their money and time before they learn to buy good stuff the first time. Learn to zero and shoot your AR with it's iron sights before you worry about a scope. Just my 2 cents. |
