I'm new here and new to the AR world.  Since the election I have purchased a Colt HBAR II and ordered an Alexander Arms 6.5 Grendel 16 Tactical.

I have only fired 100 rounds of handloads through the Colt so far.  It was nothing more than plinking at pop cans in the snow at about 30 yards. It functioned without a hiccup and seemed to be pretty accurate.  Accuracy testing and load development will have to wait till it warms up a bit.

Being new to the AR's, what kind of accuracy can I expect out of my Colt 223 and my Alexander 6.5 Grendel?  Providing I use quality ammo or fine tuned handloads.

Thanks
Steve

A standard Colt should be a 2 MOA shooter depending on your ability to shoot well with whatever sight system you use.

I don't know about the Grendel though.

The Tactical Grendel isn't built with accuracy as its prime concern, but you should be able to shoot sub-MOA with good ammo.
