My son and I built a lower and I'm in need of a left handed upper. I'm not against either building the upper or buying an upper receiver already assembled. I have been reading and looking everywhere and had a few questions. Is stag the only one that has left handed uppers and can someone give me a good-reliable place to get either a parts kit for the upper (in case I build) or another place to get an upper in left hand. Thaks guys

I understand that and I beleive you but it's the first build my son and I did together and it's going to be his gun and I want to make it whatever he wants. All my guns are righty, all my other sons guns are righty..kinda like a graduation present for doing so well in college. Hopefully he'll pass it down to his son somedday and say Grandpa and I built this specially for me....
Stag is the only place that keeps left hand uppers in regularly in stock. RRA might now but I'm not sure and DPMS will build as needed is my understanding. Your only LH parts for the upper are the bcg and upper receiver which you can get from Stag no problem. Everything else should be the same IIRC. You could use a ambi or LH charging handle but I don't find them necessary myself.
