Hey guys,

Been wanting to build a high end AR upper and heres what I'm looking to get:

Upper: VLTOR MUR
Barrel: ??
RAS: KAC URX II Mid Length
BCG: ??
Irons: Magpul

I'm looking for a 16" bbl that'd essentially look like this one:

I was looking into Noveske barrels, and I love the idea of polygonal rifling, but I like the blued/black look, and not so much the stainless. Any recommendations?

And any good BCG's out there worth looking into beyond your standard run of the mill BCGs?

Appreciate any help!

Noveske can KG Gun Kote the barrel Black or FDE so it won't have the silver/stainless appearance.  I had my Noveske barrel coated FDE, turned out great, plus it only was a $65 upcharge . . .

"High end" is usually synonymous with expensive so I'll assume you've got a big budget.

Definitely check out the Troy sights, in my opinion better than Magpul's.

Noveske all the way, never heard anything negative about them. Except the price.

The only options outside of the normal phosphate BCG's would be chrome or nickel boron plated. I haven't had any complaints about my Young Mfg. chrome BCG, and NiB is out of my budget lol.

Check out the JP enterprises PSC-11 billet  side charger upper with their competition barrel and finned heat dissipator.
