I have been lurking around for a few months here and have a full blown case of the "fever"
Since this is my first AR I opted to pick up a complete assembly and modify from there to get a feel for what I like
So far I have decided that my next upgrade is a different stock. I am a big guy and the carbine stock leaves a lot to be desired with me.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Thanks
Here are the specs so far

Rock River A4
YHM Diamond FF Rail
MBUS Front and Rear
Vortex Strikefire
Troy Claymore
Magpul RVG

+1, on the stock, I have a Magpul CTR on one, and I just got a STR for my new build, and just with holding it and looking through the scope and such it feels like a real good stock as well. The STR seems to have a much nicer cheek weld. I'd recommend either. That does look like a nice rifle so far though. Welcome aboard.

Thanks for the advise.  I have really been leaning towards the STR or if I win the lotto then the UBR

Nice rifle
I would recommend a B5 sopmod for the stock, it's the same as the LMT sopmod but quite a bit cheaper.  I wouldn't mind an STR either but the sopmod is my favorite.

Welcome and congrats on your first. For stocks, you need to find one that will balance out the rifle and offer a comfortable cheekweld for you. My personal favorites are the SOPMOD, CTR, UBR and VLTOR IMOD. You can get a B5 which is indentical to the SOPMOD for a good deal less cost wise. Like others have said, the STR or ACS are also a great option.

Good looking gun for your first! I did the same thing as you, bought a completed rifle and just made some mods. The stock was one of the first things I replaced. I'll add another vote for the Magpul CTR, I have one on mine. Haven't tried the other ones so I can't comment on those.
