Well, I have had it for 2 weeks.  Now when I turn the POWER ring up or down you can see the rectical move back and foward. Also, with illumination set to "0", it blinks on and off when the power ring is turned.  I thought everthing that turns on this scope was set pretty tight...I wonder if that is a bad thing.

Now that I know I like a 1-4x,  I am sending this back and getting a Leupold Mark 4 1.5-5x.  Sucks having to go through all this though!!!!!!
POS....

Let's hold off with the POS comments until we know a little more shall we?

So you got a bad one? Do you think nobody ever got a bad Leupold or Nightforce or even S&B? Every company sends out a bad product from time to time. At the price point of the DMS, I would expect the rate to be a little higher simply because you can't expect a company to use exhaustive QC\QA measures on a $200 (retail) scope.

I'm not defending the DMS. I don't have one (yet) so I don't know? Maybe they are a POS but I think we should wait to see if other issues pop up (or if the same one keeps popping up) before they get the "POS" label.

One good thing about Millett is that they have a no questions asked lifetime guarantee.

Love my ACOG RCOM4.............Just another option if you're not going with another DMS. Not a knock on the Millett since I don't own one and actually liked the one that the armourer was testing.  This is my first ACOG with the fiber-optic sight. Wasn't sure when I bought it, but I really like the self-regulating chevron and the BDC.
