And don't buy disposable lowers. Go cheap on what ever you want; stocks, handguards, ammo brands, but plastic lowers are ridiculous. When the idiots we elect decide to ban the sale of new semi autos, do you want to be sitting on grandfathered plastic crap or forged for $50 more that WILL last a lifetime and then some? And if you have a k-boom a forged lower tends to send gasses out the magwell and ejection port. This sort of rifle f-ing incident can be violent enough for the shooter using a metallic lower, can you imagine the shrapnel of a plastic lower that close to your face and hand?
It's less than a hundred bucks difference for forged, just sayin... |

thier torture videos are very sketchy if you ask me.
in the crush test they measure by distance not lbs so we dont know how much pressure was put on them, also when they go to take their lower out the video cuts and resumes with a brand new no mark lower(even good polymer will have a mark and come out slightly deformed) also the part where he steps up using it he steps on the handguard so the general weight was put on that end, i woulda been more impressed if he stepped on the receivers |
