Hi there! I went to the range yesterday with a new scope / bbl combination, and experienced some "interesting" results. It is a RRA 20" heavy barrel upper with a Leupold M3 3.5 - 10x. I am using the LaRue SPR 1.5 mount to cantilever the scope out over the barrel, since it requires a significant amount of eye relief. Here is the issue: While sighting in at 100 yards, even with the height adjustment cranked all the way down, the point of impact is still about 8-9 inches HIGH. I basically have to aim at the bottom of the target to hit in the center. Obviously this is not the optimal way to use this equipment, and any insight into this issue is greatly appreciated. -Howard |
