I think I saw a thread about this here but cannot find it. So, I'll ask again.
I am looking to replace the original stock on my Stag with something more face friendly (I have a beard) and much more solid. I have looked at the Ace SCOCOM M4, Mngpul ASC and UBR and LMT. The ACE looks like what I might be happy with but would love input from those more experienced. At $200.00 plus I would all the information I can get from users. Thanks, S. |

I would really recommend the new ACE Hammer Stock. It’s not only one of the most robust butt stocks on the market made 100% out of 6061 T6 Aluminum, has a lock out feature so you may lock it into whatever position you like to shoot from, as well as having a "meat tenderizer" type strike plate on the butt stock. Perfect for CQB or just shooting prone. YOU WILL NOT BREAK THIS STOCK. But it’s also the only carbine stock that features and adjustable cheek riser for use with optics. And the cheek weld is one piece. There is nothing that can or will get caught on a beard. I myself have a goatee and hate shooting with VLTOR and most Magpul due to the snag problem.
