Built a XM177E2 and I am pretty happy with the results..

NDS lower
USGI lower Parts kit
USGI upper
Colt handguards
Colt 2 position stock tube, nut and XM stock
Moderator, grenade ring, BFA, barrel work and upper assembly all done by John Thomas at Retro Arms

Well its a reprofiled M-4 barrel that JT did the work on and yes that is JTs moderator and grenade ring. Honestly I cant say enough good things about John Thomas and Retro Arms works he knows his stuff with retro guns and is all about the fine details like removing the flashing off the FSP etc. JT has a great product, great customer service, great turn around times and great prices..
