Greetings all, New guy here.
I've been lurking here and at other forums doing some research before ordering my first Black Rifle and am impressed at the knowledge and experience here. I own and shoot other long guns and handguns, but this is my first AR type rifle. What I have ordered is the PSA (Palmetto State Armory) 16'' Hammer Forged M4A1 Patrol Rifle Package with the "Magpul upgrades" and some additional mags. I also have some 55gr PMC Bronze ammo on the way to get started with. I am trying to read as much as possible before I receive the rifle and there is a BUNCH to sift through. I have a co-worker who has been in the reserves for a long time who I am going to rely on for speeding up my learning time on take down, cleaning, and any pointers he might offer. Anyway, just wanted to say "HELLO" ... I'll keep reading all the good info here. |

Hi and welcome.
I still learning all the new on the AR. I have not kept up with the AR in a long time and things have changed. There is a lot of knowledge on the site and a lot of people here willing to help if you ask them. Not me, lol, I'm catching up myself.

| The PSA was on my short list and I ended up ordering a Core 15 MOE from Buds. When I looked at the PSA's they were much cheaper from Buds but you get a prebuilt weapon, nothing that could be modified to your spec. Just wondering if you left money on the table... Either way I know you got or will get a 100% quality weapon. |
