Need to pick up a new mount , new scope has 34 moa of elev. adjustment , most shooting will be at 100yd but every now and then can go 700 plus so would you guys order a mount with 20moa built in to it ? Thinking it'll ride a 6.8

Is that total elevation turret lock to turret lock, or the separate amount up or down from midpoint mechanical zero?

If it is total (17 in each direction) and you put that scope in a 20 MOA mount, you may not be able to get it zeroed because you will have used up all of its  adjustment range just to get it zeroed on your target at 100 yards.

I believe it's lock to lock, that was a concern to about getting a zero. So I'll be ordering a regular base, Thanks guys

You might get one of the Larue 10 MOA mounts.
