| Just bought another black rifle. Swore I'd never own another, so that lasted almost a year. Decided to stay as clean as possible this time. No lights, no laser and no $1,000 Trijicon. Bought the Vortex Spitfire Prism 3x. Very pleasantly surprised with the glass and the reticle. I know they 'own' that reticle, but I am seeing it show up more in some of their other products. Playing musical gongs today at 100. Nothing really difficult until you take the plates while they are swinging around. Perfection. I am going to really enjoy this one, and after the new Timney trigger drops in on Saturday and the milspec goes awayyyyy. I'll like it even more. Windham Weaponry carbine is the rifle BTW, and for a "Bushmaster" in disguise it's nice. |
