Okay, I have been through a ton of tactical lights, and finally decided upon what I just bought.

Surefire 6P

LaRue 606 off-set mount w/ 1.040 Rings (I think I measured right...) (KAC RAS M5 rail W/VFG)

http://www.tacticalnightvision.com/illumination.htm 's Cree Q5 256 lumen bulb (I like the dual-spring Surefire drop-in design)

Z49 Clicky cap

FM36 blue filter cap

Thoughts? Knocks/props?

I plan on using this with an ACOG T31RCOA4. How far out should I be able to use it?

I will post a picture when my A4 clone-ish rifle( I deviated from the issue A4 with my liberal use of LaRue and eschewing the 961 in favor of the lighter CreeQ5 modified 6P) is finished. Sabre's lead time has insured that that will not occur until around March '09. Stay tuned. I think you will like it. Lot's of LaRue, Trijicon, and KAC.

Must LED gray out around 75 yards but there are alot of factors. I have a cree in my g2 very happy with it. If you use it inside you might need to put a filter on it to tone it down. You'll see what I mean by the white out. All the best.

I have also purchased a Malkoff M60 that will arrive in a day or two, but you couldn't see that in the photo anyways, but here you go. Pix of the finished rifle will appear in a few months, and in much better clarity.
