I am brand-spanking-new to the AR platform. I purchased a DPMS Panther Oracle, and like it.
But, I have been bitten by the AR bug! I have ordered a Colt LE6920 from Budsgunshop.com. Please, someone talk me out of owning 2-ARs! |
Do you have an AR pistol yet? Better get one of those. And one with a 18" or 20" barrel to set up for shooting distances. And then at least one in ONE of the THREE other popular calibers, 6.5 Grendel, 6.8 SPC, or .300 AAC. Oh, and don't forget a big bore in .450 Bushmaster, .458 SOCOM, or .50 Beowulf.

| why in holy hell would we try to talk you out of second? actually, we're a bunch of sick enablers who will talk you into 5 more... you need a good solid one with a free float rail and no A2 sight post, an ar pistol, maybe 3-4 colts for SHTF scenarios. Don't forget about Nibx and nitride BCGs just for good measure, and don't even start about optics :D |

I DO know that I want a .308 or .300 Blackout. Why? Not so sure, but I certainly have no use for them. I live in Ohio and can only use straight walled cartridges for hunting.
