I was wanting to order a new Bushmaster predator upper and put it on a bushmaster lower that I have. Any way the local dealer told me don't do it they usually won't match or fit very well, only 1 in 10 will usually work. He says only buy the complete gun is this true or whats the skinny? Thanks for any help!!!

Your local dealer is misinformed, or lying. Take your pick, but his info is incorrect. You can take any spec upper, and put it on any spec lower, and while it may be a hair tight, or a hair loose, its almost never enough to be an issue.
