I would like to build an additional upper for range use, and keep the price down a bit.
I plan on using a DPMS flattop receiver with a DPMS barrel and FF tube, the inexpensive one.
Will the Yankee Hill flip up front site/gas block work with this setup? (20 inch tube, normal HBAR) (I want to use open sights and be able to put on there as well.)
thanks

Yes it will............it replaces the gas block which should be standard on that barrel. Have fun.

Prop Doc:
before you go, will I need a FF tube wrench? Is this necessary?
can I use one of my previous gas tubes?  (20 inch)
thanks for the help

I'm not sure what FF tube you are thinking about. If you are talking a one piece type, then a big strap wrench can be used, however you will need to torque it to 30ft/lbs then align gas tube hole, not to exceed 80ft/lbs (you might have to doctor the strap wrench to accept a torque wrench (drill a hole and file it square) The torque spec it wide enough to not worry about offset. If you are talking threaded barrel nut type, then you will need barrel nut wrench. And yes, you can reuse a gas tube..........you will need the roll pin. Hope that helped. Good luck.
