I got the .308 AR itch and decided it was time to get one. I originally wanted a a new MI 18" but they were out of stock. I started browsing gun broker and came across the windham 308 with MI keymod rail. this particular rifle features a 16" barrel and collapsible stock. I placed my order after reading reviews and watching YouTube videos. There is not a lot out there about this rifle but what I read was good.
I started shopping and picked up a b5 systems bravo stock, milspec buffer tube, BCM 308 charging handle with medium latch, BCM pistol grip, a set of MAGPUL mbus, and a sure fire pro comp. Rifle arrived today and I installed all the accessories I had purchased. Everything went on fine with no issues, I borrowed a SSA-e trigger from another AR as well as my aimpoint T-1. Attached my MAGPUL ms4 QD sling and headed to the range with an assortment of zq1 .308 fmj and federal fmj Rifle came with a simple websling, one qd swivle, and a 20 round pmag packaged into a plastic hardcase. The fit and finish on this rifle is very nice and has some features that I wanted such and built in qd sockets on the left and right side on the lower receiver as well as multiple QD sockets on the keymod rail. The upper and lower fit are very nice with just a small amount of play between them. i did experience one fail to feed about 100 rounds in with zq1 which has been less than stellar in other rifles I have tried it in and also to note I did not clean the rifle prior to shooting and it was drenched in thick packing oil. Rifle functioned flawlessly after that malfunction for another 50 rounds. I didn't do any accuracy testing as I'm waiting until I decide on a magnified optic instead of wasting match ammo. I was able to hit clay pidgeons from 20- 80 yards without difficulty. The rifle was very smooth with the surefire break and had very low recoil. If anyone is interested in one of these I highly recommend one. |

I agree. Love mine. Very nice fit and finish and price is unmatched. I think there is not a lot out there because people think you need to spend 3 grand on a good rifle. If they would look at and handle the rifle they would be amazed. It is also one of the smallest and lightest Ar-10 out there.
Another huge plus, you can order all the spare parts for this rifle off their website. Which I have. They also mailed me a barrel nut wrench for free for the Midwest rail. How many other companies sell all spare parts for their rifle ? Excellent company and they have a winner. " />
