Hello, I'm new to the board. I bought my first AR15, a Colt MT6700. Although this is my first new AR15, I have miltary experience with them during my Stints in the Army (74-77), and in the Air Force (78-82). My local Range has a Maximum 100 yard range. Probably, my first upgrade will be a Optical type scope for this range. However, it will take some time to make a decision because of the variety of options available. Since I'm 50ish, my eyes aren't what they used to be. My other rifles with optical scopes work fine, which is why I'm leaning toward these scopes. Also, I'll be shooting with my daughter, using the stock Iron Sights until June when she leaves for the Air Force. AR15 is a great board and hope to spend a good amount of time participating. Bruce |
