Hey everyone. I'm newly registered here, but have been using these forums as a source of information for quite some time. Finally decided to take the plunge and build my first AR. Unfortunately, I'm waiting an estimated 8-10 weeks for an order from spikes tactical, but here is what I have put together so far. And the obligatory photo! (the flash hider isn't tightened on yet, its just finger threaded, which is why it isn't aligned.)

Waiting on my spikes order for: Spikes lower receiver, enhanced LPK, and NiB BCG as well as BCM gunfighter charging handle. I also have a CTR stock, but nothing to stick it on! Very anxiously awaiting my Spikes order so I can finish this puppy up!

I have a membership to the Des Moines Rifle and Revolver club in Van Meter, which is excellent. 600 yard highpower range, 100 yard rimfire, 25 yard pistol. how much a year? might be interested haha 600 yd range is hard to find and my DPMS is a SPR set up right now so that would be awesome for me. |

It's $100.00 / year and I believe there is a $50 joining fee. It's definitely worth it, but I'm not sure if they're currently accepting applications or not.
