This is my first build and i was going to paint all the metal parts in duracote OD green. The question i have is if i paint the inside the upper receiver(parts removed) and lower(parts removed), how much would that affect the moving parts. I know its tight tolerances inside for moving parts. Just thought i would get some ideas and or suggestions.

| do your best to keep it our but overall if you shoot it thin enough it will clearance itself fine. i just duracoated an upper and didn't sweat getting much paint inside. any areas that touch will rub the paint off once things start moving. be sure to spray it thin with light coats and give it alot of dry time. older it is the harder it gets. |
