What is the difference between a mid length and a standard length AR? Is the cycling faster in mid length?I am looking at the RRA Elite CAR A4.Is that a mid length?Thanks for any help.Mark

Gas port is move about 2" further out. Resulting in cycling that is a bit slower/less harsh (both are good things). Also results in a longer sight radius (good thing if you are using iron sights).
