I've got a flat-top carbine that I just picked up a carry handle for.  I just have the basic handguards with a gas-block mounted.  Is there a gas-block mounted front sight I can get that will work with the handle, or would it be better to find a standard front sight and do away with the gas-block?  I kinda "fell" into this rifle, and just want it simple with no permanent optics.  Wanna be able to pick it up in any situation and know it's "on" and ready.  Thanks for any input!

Does the gas block have Picatinny Rail, just like your upper receiver?

if so, this sight from Del-ton (and many other vendors) would probably work:

if not, then you need to change your gas block.  You could then put a regular front sight on there.

Hey, thanks.  Been seein those, and yes, it has a rail, but it's a little lower than the receiver rail.  Do I need to get some kind of measurement before ordering?  I guess if it says it's made for gas-blocks, it'll work though.

It should specify if its for a gas block or a rail/forearm. You will of course want the one for the gas block.
