i kinda got a sortta new AR15 and i got a fixed stock on it... iam just playing around with it and trying to get to know the ins and outs... i got it pretty much down but how do i get the FIXED stock off of it? Its a regular fixed stock iam geussing and its on a Bushmaster XM15E2.... Thanks for any inputs

1) Remove the top screw on the back of the stock 2) Pull the stock off, but make sure not to lose the spring and detent that are in the rear of the receiver. 3) If you need the buffer tube off, start unscrewing it, but make sure not to lose the buffer retaining pin and spring which will want to pop out after you unscrew the tube a turn or two. You generally won't need to take it off unless you're changing to a new stock. |
