I am looking to add some AR's to my collection and want to build them from kits. I can get stripped lowers locally and want some advice on which kit's to get. I do want vg accuracy but don't need NM accuracy. Is there a major difference in accuracy in 16" vs 20" vs 24" barrels. What are the better barrel makers. I have been looking at a number of online retailers offering various kits including M&A Parts, Model 1 Sales, Rock River (only 2 16" kits offered), J&T and others. It looks like a chrome lined bore is not available on a stainless steel barrel but are on chrome moly barrels. I plan on using Barnaul and Silver Bear (no wolf) and some better ammo when I am ready for serious paper punching. The range I use here on LI is 100 yds (any sights) and 200 yds (scoped only) and would like the option mounting a scope or using iron sights. Can you add iron sights to the A3 receiver?  Any big difference between ER Shaw and other barrels offered, some no named and others such as Bushmaster etc. Again, I am looking for VG accuracy to use during informal paper punching at 100 yds off a bench. If you can recommend any kits that meet my needs it is appreciated. There are so many choices that it starts to numb the mind when looking for the right kit. Cost is also a consideration.
                        Thanks, Ken
