Hi, Ihave a completed lower that is ready for an upper. I am looking to build am M-4 16inch carbine. M&A parts has a barrelled upper in stock for $390.00. Would I be correct in saying that to complete the rifle all I will need is a bolt carrier group, charging handle and a removable carry handle? I see that more parts are in stock. Is $390 a good deal for the M&A upper?? Any other recommendations?

M&A is a good company to deal with.  They have great service and quality parts.

Yes...if they are not included a BCG, CH, and carry handle will be needed if you get a flat top and want A2 sights.

Based on the prices you give and some quick math, you may be able to get a better deal somewhere for a *complete* upper that would include the other parts you will need.

One of their pictures shows the CH in place but the description does not say *complete*.

Maybe they would cut you a deal for a complete unit if you call?
Good luck with your search.

LMT manufactures and assembles M & A barreled uppers so they should be GTG for a economical build.
