I am planning on a SPR type upper for my next project. Here's the plan 1) 18-inch Noveske SPR Upper Med Contour 2) CMT Upper and bolt 3) RRA lower that been in the safe for two years 4) DD 12-inch rail 5) A2 Stock Which muzzle device should I use? Optics? Comments? Suggestions? |

The "hot" flash hider right now is the Smith Vortex. The popular optic setup right now is a low powered (1-4x, 1.5-6x, etc) variable from IOR, Meopta, S&B, Leupold, Horus Vision, Trijicon, etc on a LaRue LT104 mount. Although the Leupold Mark 4 MR/T has been seeing most of the action on the Military's SPRs. I buckled under this peer pressure during my last build . . .

It's a JP Enterprises V-Tac rail. I wasn't impressed with the installation. The instructions actually read Red Loctite is required. I muscled it on using a strap wrench and barrel wrench and skipped the Loctite. It isn't a user friendly rail. Now back to the current thread . . someone help this guy with flash hiders and optics |
