Is that the MPSII? It looks very much like one. Specs for that here...

www.aimpoint.com/o.o.i.s?id=47&prev_id=47&product_id=70

Go to the next page to see the detailed specs. This one is for vehicle mounted weapons primarily they say.

No It's not the MPSII. It is smaller and on a bunch of rifles (ak variants) in pictures of the Swedish military.

Has Tacpoint made a badass copy yet?

Maybe Hako recognized the potential problems with external adjustments and avoided it

That's what I'm waiting for, Tacpoint always takes a
"decent" and "acceptable" scope and turns it into one fine 1000 yard sniper red dot. Why buy mediocer (spelling?) when you can have the finest glass available to the airsoft world!

where'd you find the pic?

1)  the BUIS look like their sort of crapy.. even more than the NSN's...

2)  why is the brightness nob down there?

3) did anyone ask for a rail ontop?  :P

4)  i'm wondering if the side nob is a BDC cam... i am just wondering...

here is a link to the original thread on the other site, a couple more pics and a link to aimpoints site (Luno, the original poster says its a modified Comp ML2). When will we see them?

jar3ds: I think the rail on top might be for Aimpoints IR laser, looks like it would fit.
On the picture of the two Swedes with G3, it looks like the rear scope cover is clear and the forward one can open to 90 deg so you could still use the crappy ELCAN like BUIS.

Here are some more photos from the FN-SCAR thread.

I also just noticed the front scope cover is actually double (two hinges). Wonder if one is a killflash or 90 deg and the other is full open?

The front has a killflash as well as the cover, thats what the double hinge is. Someone that was issued one posted some info on, I think Lightfighter.com a while back. The sight is supposed to have a 10 year battery lift.

It has M1913 rails so you can mount an Eotech on top.

Oh is that what that was for?  I was thinking a VFG for the gangsta style shooter.

That sight was made specifically for the Swedish military.  It has internal adjustments.  The battery is a Lithium AA which is not replaceable at the unit level.  The front has a double-hinged cover that incorporates the Killflash filter and outer lens cover.  The iron sights on top are strictly for back-up, but are adjustable.  There are 16 switch positions, and the sight is NVD compatible.  It functions very much like the CompM2 in most respects.  These are not available for sale.

Any Questions?

Thank you for coming here and filling us in.  That was very cool.  Just joking about the EOTech thing, I like them but I'm not quite sure what to do with the 65MOA shoot-me-down-an-aircraft reticle.
